Hello :).

Am o mare boala cu "modding"-ul, orice joc, nu ma las pana nu-l modez. Si ca sa nu-mi infestez singur threadul despre Starcraft Boardgame, mai fac unul pt. LNOE. Prin intermediul lui cer persoanelor interesate si familiare cu jocul un pic de ajutor, ca sa iasa bine.

Astept sa vina 2 seturi noi de zombie (acum imi pare rau ca nu am comandat 3!), mov si negru, si 20 de figurine pentru eroi noi. Bineinteles ca o sa-i pictez! Cu skill set-urile e un pic mai greu, si nu vreau sa scot vreunul overpowered, desi, in conditiile in care vor fi si unii chiar mai deficienti, ar trebui sa se completeze reciproc. Eroii de mai jos sunt facuti pe baze de notorietate a personajelor :D, si ganditi oarecum sa se bonus-easca unul pe altul, dar in conditii mai greu de indeplinit si care implica team-play masiv. Eroii standard mi se par prea austeri, si era clar loc de mai bine!

Miniaturile sunt gen Ash Williams, Lara Croft, Ripley (din Aliens) etc.

Legenda: + Avantaj; - Dezavantaj; = skill relativ neimportant, neclar (inca) sau cu 2 taisuri; "HP" hit points.

1. "Buffy" (Vampire Slayer) (Student - Female) (2 HP) (Start: High School)
+ Who The Hell Are You: May examine a random Zombie Card from a Zombie Player Hand whenever she discards a (variation: unused) Hero Card.
- Reality Check: Rolls before each Move Action and skips her turn on the roll of 1.
+ Youth: May give up a Move Action to Fully Heal.

2. "Linda" (Martial Artist) (Expert - Female) (3 HP) (Start: Gym)
+ Mental Preparation: Starts the game with the top 2 Hero Event Cards.
= Scorpion Kick: May attack simultaneously all the Zombies in the space she occupies, with a single roll for all. Each Zombie retaliates normally.

3. "Lara Croft" (Tomb Raider) (Explorer - Female) (3 HP) (Start: Antique Shop)
+ Relic Hunter: After Searching, may re-roll and continue with a D3 spaces Movement.
+ Explorer: May give up the entire turn to trade any 2 Cards for the top Card of the Hero discard pile.

4. "The Bride" (Cobra Assassin) (Outlaw - Female) (2 HP) (Start: Post Office)
+ Stealth: May disguise as Zombie for D6 turns once per game. While a Zombie, she cannot Search, Use Ranged Weapons or Exchange Items.
For the duration of the next Zombie turn, Zombies are not forced to end their movement in the space she occupies and cannot attack her.
- Outlaw: Cannot end her Movement in a space occupied by a Law Enforcement Hero.
- Vengeful: Cannot use Faith or Rosary Cards.

5. "Ash Williams" (S-Mart Cashier) (Survivor - Male) (3 HP) (Start: General Store)
+ Zombie Carving: Starts the game with his strapped-on Chainsaw.
- Handicapped: Cannot use any Double-Handed Weapons. Can only hold 1 Weapon Card plus the Chainsaw.
= Housewares: When searching, may pick up Gasoline from discard pile (unless it's a Scenario Search Item).

6. "Sgt. B.A. Baracus" (A-Team Member) (Strange - Military - Male) (4 HP) (Start: Junkyard)
= Give Me That, Fool: May take a wound instead of any Military Hero beaten in a fight in the same space he occupies.
+ Wait a minute...: During a fight, may cancel a Zombie Card played against him and allow the Zombie Player to draw the top 3 Cards
from the Zombie Deck, play one of them instead and keep the other 2 until the Start of the Zombie Turn.

7. "Nikita" (Special Operative) (Expert - Female) (3 HP) (Start: Airplane Hangar)
+ Contingency Plan: Can re-roll her Movement dice once and pick either one, before executing her Move Action.
+ Rescue Mission: Any Survivor Hero, that loses a fight in the same space she occupies, may ignore the wound on a roll of 4+.

8. "Indiana Jones" (Archeologist) (Explorer - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Antique Shop)
+ Excavation: May Pick Up any Item Card from the discard pile instead of Searching, after at least 10 cards have been discarded. That Item cannot be exchanged during the same round.
+ Explorer: May give up the entire turn to trade any 2 Cards for the top Card of the Hero discard pile.

9. "Duke Nukem" (Commando) (Expert - Military - Male) (3 HP) (Start: The Plant)
+ Who Wants Some: He doesn't need to carry a Fire item to light the Dynamite, using his cigar instead.
+ Fire In The Hole: Gasoline and Dynamite explosions automatically Wound him, instead of rolling to check for a kill.

10. "Ripley" (Alien Hunter) (Survivor - Female) (3 HP) (Start: The Factory)
= Game Over: At anytime, may blow herself up with Gasoline or Dynamite to instantly kill all the Zombies in the same space.
+ It's A Bughunt: May use both effects of Fire Extinguisher simultaneously, and may discard a Gasoline Card instead of Welding Torch breaking.
+ Gotta Go Back: May Move through and Search buildings that have been Taken Over.

11. "The Rock" (Hometown Sheriff) (Military - Law Enforcement - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Police Station)
+ This Is My Town: During Zombie Turn, may fight with all the Zombies instead of evenly distributing Zombies for all Heroes occupying the space.
+ Walking Tall: Can hold 5 Item Cards in his hand, out of which only 2 can be Weapons.

12. "Omar Little" (Stick-Up Boy) (Outlaw - Vigilante - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Gas Station)
+ Cover Fire: May give up an Ammo or Ranged Weapon Card to let Outlaw Heroes fighting in an adjacent space roll 1 extra fight dice until the end of Hero Turn. May be used multiple times during the same round.
- Outlaw: Cannot end his Movement in a space occupied by a Law Enforcement Hero.

13. "Ma Baker" (Bank Robber) (Outlaw - Female) (2 HP) (Start: The Bank)
- Old Bones: Her age prevents her from using any Hand Weapons, and may not be the target of "This Could Be Our Last Night On Earth".
+ Hostages: May discard a Townsfolk Card instead of taking a wound in a fight.
- Outlaw: Cannot end her Movement in a space occupied by a Law Enforcement Hero.

14. "Jack Bauer" (C.T.U. Agent) (Expert - Law Enforcement - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Airplane Hangar)
= Ruthless: May wound another Hero in the same space to kill a Zombie beaten in a fight even if no doubles were rolled.
+ Team Leader: Any Expert Heroes in the same space may roll an extra fight dice.

15. "Scofield" (Structural Engineer) (Explorer - Survivor - Male) (2 HP) (Start: Library)
+ Prison Break: Can exit buildings through Walls and Locked Doors, ending his Movement on the other side.
+ Explorer: May give up the entire turn to trade any 2 Cards for the top Card of the Hero discard pile.

16. "Arnold" (Vietnam Veteran) (Military - Strange - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Gun Shop)
- Blood Thirsty: If there are any adjacent Zombie occupied spaces, he must Move in one of them. He can't leave a space with a Zombie.
+ Trigger Happy: May give up a Move Action to use a Ranged Weapon twice that round.

17. "Dean Winchester" (Monster Hunter) (Holy - Vigilante - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Graveyard)
+ Salt Barrier: May give up a Move Action to perform a ritual. Until the end of the next Zombie turn, Zombies cannot enter his space.
+ Exorcism: May discard 2 Event Cards to instantly kill any Zombie Hero he beats in a fight. That Hero is then returned to the Unused Heroes Pool.

18. "Piedone" (Extralarge) (Vigilante - Male) (3 HP) (Start: The Barn)
= Don't Call Me Bambino: Cannot be turned into a Zombie Hero. After he dies, he is directly removed from the game.
+ Bulldozer: Can roll an extra fight dice for every other Vigilante Hero in the space he occupies or any adjacent spaces.

19. "Tanya Adams" (Special Agent) (Military - Female) (3 HP) (Start: Gun Shop)
+ Sniper: May add 1 to the Range of any Ranged Weapons she uses.
+ KA-CHING: May carry and shoot 2 Revolvers simultaneously. Both of them run out of Ammo when either one of them does.

20. "Dr. Joel" (Doctor In Alaska) (Medical - Male) (3 HP) (Start: Drug Store)
+ Transfusion: When in the same square with at least 2 other Heroes, may transfer a Wound from one Hero to another, but not on himself.
+ House Calls: Starts the game with a First Aid Kit.

din pacate nu mai joc asa des LNOE ca inainte dar voi incerca data viitoare sa folosesc unele din personaje sa vad ce iese. Tu chiar nu te incurci cu moddingurile :)

Am terminat de asamblat si modificat cele 14 figurine (din cositor) pe care le-am primit. Mai tre sa vina vreo 4 care nu erau pe stoc. Pana atunci, on to painting them :). Dupa ce termin cu LNOE cred ca ma apuc de jocul ala nou pe care vreau sa-l fac :D.

Lara Croft, Scofield si mai ales Indiana Jones par extrem de puternici dpdv al abilitatilor. Nu prea vad vreun joc in care sa nu ii aleg in fata la oricare alt erou (3 HP + abilitati Godlike).

Pe cealalta parte, Buffy si The Bride nu cred ca ar fi alese niciodata. Abilitati slabe, putine HP - par carne de tun pt. zombies la prima vedere.

Alti eroi interesanti (ce as alege sa ii joc, functie de scenariu): Duke Nukem, Ripley, Tanya Adams, Linda.

Oricum, felicitari pentru eroi, ai imaginatie :). Mi-ar placea mult sa joc un LNoE cu voi, asa modat. Cine stie, poate data viitoare cand ajung prin Bucuresti.

Merci :). Am primit azi si Hero Pack 1 de la Flying Frog. Damn... s-au luat dupa mine la abilitati, nu pot sa cred!

Pai vezi tu, nu poti sa-i alegi! Tre sa tragi la intamplare, asa e in majoritatea scenariilor. Unii mai tari, altii mai slabi...

E super cool lista. Bine, cred ca mai trebuie lucrata un pic. Un erou care poate sa ia carti din discard pile in combinatie cu 2 eroi care decarteaza din mana si trag alte carti noi e letala. Ruleaza Hero Deck-ul prea repede si daca se strang intr-o locatie toti 3, in 4-5 runde se echipeaza toti cu ranged.

Sunt misto pt pvp (la scenarii devin prea puternici in varii combinatii). Dar tre muncit putin (nu prea mult) ca sa se elimine posibilitatea de a face combinatii uber-deadly. Oricum, imi place cum se contureaza rolul de echipa.

Dar ganditi-va la urmatoarea situaite. Scenariu Defende The Manor House (the thoughest out there). Echipa de eroi: Linda, Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, Buffy. Se duc toti in cladire in primele runde, search, discard, search, discard, pick-up iteme si weapons pe Indi Jones si trade. In mai putine ture decat pot zombi sa ajunga in Casa sa castige, au toti ranged si probabil are si Linda o bata si eventual o carte sa faca kill chiar dk nu a dat dubla. Nu mai vb dk au bulan extrem sau timp suficient si fac holly hero si cateva carti de faith. Rampage! Total carnage... Si din ce pare, acel scenariu e facut sa nu fie castigat de oameni prea des

Sa inteleg, pt. ca pare ca astia dau impresia de OP, eroii cu abilitatea "Explorer" ar trebui sabotati un pic.

Sa le diversific abilitatile la fiecare, in acelasi stil (pe baza de search/carti) sau pur si simplu sa fac Explorer mai slaba?

Specificare la Linda: ea da un roll de cate zaruri are, apoi, acele zaruri se compara pe rand cu fiecare zombie, care retaliaza individual, cu zarurile lui. Io zic ca asta are sanse si sa-i omoare pe toti, si sa moara dintr-o singura lovitura :).

In al doilea rand, Prison Break-ul lui Scofield. Daca vi se pare prea tare, ce ziceti sa poata doar sa iasa din cladiri, nu sa si intre prin pereti.

Astept sugestii :).

Excavation is Explorer sunt nuts. Combinate sunt mortale.

Gandeste-te la Johny caruia ii dai chainsaw-ul. Si cand il pierde, nu-i bai, folosesti Explorer sau Excavation il iei la loc si din nou amicul taie tot in stanga sau dreapta. Sau Jenny cu cine stie ce shotgun. Extrem, extrem de puternic. Ca si zombie m-ar frustra asa ceva.

Ori alt scenariu: un explorer/excavation cu Duke Nukem si un healer (sau carti de healing) - pick up Dynamite, kill hordes of zimbies, heal, rinse and repeat.

Unii eroi par mult prea puternici - poate sa ii echilibrezi putin. Cat despre Prison Break: este o idee sa il lasi doar sa iasa. Altfel, va putea intra in cladiri si cauta prin orice loc, ceea ce il face puternic daca da bine cu zarul pentru movement.

Nu ma refeream neaparat sa strici traiturile initiale - chiar imi placeau cum suna. Poate sa le "amesteci". Sa nu existe de exemplu un erou Excavation + Explorer.

Oricum, Excavation suna chiar bine acum. Iar Explorer poate e deajuns schimb 2 la 1, fara sa isi piarda tura. :) Fain, fain ca esti deschis la discutii.

De acord cu chukila. No need to nerf the Explorer that much. Excavation e forma finala. Suna FOARTE bine.

Ok, idee pt Buffy:

+ Vampire Bloodline: Heals 1 HP at the end of Zombie player turn
- Blurry Vision: Moves on 1d3.

Asta cu search outside buildings merge tot la un erou Explorer :), dar, vb ta, insotita de un D3 pt. move. S-ar putea sa am o figurina in plus, dintre cele pe care le-am comandat (mai astept vre 4), si poate le bagam atunci. Ma gandeam ca am uitat-o complet pe Alice din Resident Evil :P. Stupid me!

Din pacate, la Buffy, abilitatea de a vedea cartile din mana Zombiilor imi place f. tare, n-as schimba-o :D, dar sugestia cu Vampire Blood(line) e tare. Poate prea tare :). Sa ne gandim...
