Wendake is the name that the Wyandot People use for their traditional territory. This population, also known as the Huron Nation, lived in the Great Lakes region together with the Iroquois, Shawnee, Potomac, Seneca, and many others. In this game, you will explore the traditions and everyday life of these tribes during the 1756-1763 period, when the 7-Years-War between the French and the English took place in these territories.

But this white man’s war is really only a marginal aspect of the game: the focus is on life in the Native villages, fields, and forests. In this game, you won’t find the traditional teepees—those were used by southwestern tribes who moved their camps to follow the herds of buffalo. The Natives of the Great Lakes were sedentary, living in long houses. The women farmed Beans, Corn, and Pumpkins, while men hunted beavers in the forests, mainly to sell their pelts as leather.

GAME OVERVIEW
In Wendake, you will be placed in the shoes of a chief of a Native American tribe. You will have to manage all of the most important aspects of their lives, earning points on the Economic, Military, Ritual, and Mask Tracks. The core of the game is the action selection mechanism: you will have the opportunity to choose better and better actions over 7 game rounds, and the winner will be the player who can find the best combinations of actions and use them to lead their tribe to prosperity.

In The Sanctuary players take on a role of animal sanctuary owners. Your goal will be to gather endangered animals in your sanctuary and take care of them. You will feed them, develop their enclosures etc. to make them happy and eventually rise their population.

The Sanctuary is a worker placement game. Each round you will lay down in a row a different set of cards in the middle of the table. Each card has a main and side action on it. Players will send their workers on those cards and perform actions. Each worker "sees" and can perform his main action and as many side actions as they are in his line of sight which is limited by other worker's meeples.

Performing those actions will help you to find new animals, develop their living conditions and so on. In "Sanctuary" the most important thing is to chose a right card at the right moment and perform chosen actions in most efficient order.

On your land in Agra, you cultivate and harvest cotton and turmeric. You possess a forest from which you produce wood, as well as a small, but very profitable sandstone quarry. By trading and processing your wares, you can obtain more luxurious goods, which you will then use to woo notables as they make their way into the capital. Of course, your rivals have the same plan; you must use your wits to outsmart them as Akbar's birthday draws near...
