Un joc de familie este acel joc ce are reguli simple, care se joaca repede, avand un nivel ridicat de interactiune intre jucatori, si care se preteaza a fi jucat de catre persoane de toate varstele.
Cateva exemple: Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, Alhambra, Formula D, Lost Cities, Hotel Samoa, Tobago, Settlers of Catan, Stone Age, Pandemic, etc.
