dupa cum v-am mai zis, anul acesta apare o mult-asteptata extensie de Tide of Iron, Fury of the Bear (ce cuprinde armata sovietica). Au aparut noi detalii legate de miniaturile incluse si vehiculele portretizate pe site-ul FFG:

Each buyer will be given a special 'fifth Musketeer' (Treville) with his figurine and player sheet. With Treville, players will be able to play with six players (or to replace another musketeer, of course)."

1. Kaigan Jocul, cunoscut si sub denumirea de Inotaizu, ne poveste istoria cartografierii liniei de coasta a Japoniei, fapt petrecut pe la inceputul secolului XIX. Jucatorii vor fi cei care se ocupa cu cartografiatul efectiv, urmand ca "boss-ul" jocului, Tadataka Ino, sa verifice cine s-a descurcat cel mai bine si sa puncteze corespunzator acest lucru... Un joc cu o tematica ceva mai putin intalnita si care mie imi place mult. Nu vorbim despre expeditii de colonizare, ci de expeditii de cucerire a varfului K-2 (foarte important, pe unul dintre mai multii versanti pe care se poate face catararea). Nu vorbim despre worker placement, ci despre foot sau tool placement (ca doar trebuie sa fim atenti unde pasim si cum sa ajungem mai repede pe o platforma sigura). Descrierea producatorului este:

At the end of a turn, you draw three cards from your deck and move the weather pawn to the next day on the weather tile. During the game, the decks will be gone through three times and all six weather tiles will be used. (There are three spaces with different weather on each of them.) Planning, hand management and risk analysis are important elements of K2 play. Another important thing is choosing the path for your climbers as the other mountaineers can block your way, which can be devastating if you are high or if bad weather comes.
K2 is a board game for 1-5 players, with strong interaction and a low luck factor that lasts up to 60 minutes. The theme is very well represented by the mechanisms, including such elements as changing weather, lack of oxygen and death of the mountaineers. The result is an exciting match for gamers and non-gamers alike. The game includes a double-sided game board with two different routes to the summit (easier and harder) and two sets of weather tiles (for summer and winter).

Alas, the adventurers' presence sets off a series of 3,000-year-old traps and they become separated inside a lethal maze.
Turns out that the maze is of their own creation, though, as players take turns laying down tiles that show corridors, monsters, traps or equipment. They must reach a staircase exit in order to gain their freedom, possibly facing off against monsters while doing so and using the strengths of their four characteristics to survive.

Din cate am inteles din putinele surse, fiecare jucator conduce o expeditie formata din mai multi aventurieri (4?), fiecare dintre ei cu abilitati diferite, ce incearca sa gaseasca iesirea din Marea Piramida a lui Kheops. Harta se construieste in stil Carcassone (asezare de cartonase) si este foarte posibil ca pe traseu membrii expeditiei sa dea peste diversi monstri, pe care trebuie sa ii elimine pentru a trece mai departe.
Momentan jocul nu este disponibil decat in franceza si spaniola si nu am gasit nimic inca despre o eventuala editie in engleza.

You must also deal with the problem of rising poverty and how to employ the many paupers of the city. Throughout the game you will be forced to make tough decisions. To achieve one aim you must sacrifice another, which may open an opportunity for a competitor.

O noua firma, Clever Mojo Games anunta lansarea unui joc care se anunta foarte interesant cel putin pentru mine: Alien Frontier. Momentan exista si o oferta la ei pe site de preorder cu o reducere maricica de la 49 la 39$ (drumul pana in RO pare sa fie 20$). Cateva lucruri despre joc:
pare o idee foarte interesanta aceasta ca navele sunt reprezentate de zaruri si pare sa fie o mecanica de genul Roma sau Kingsburg. Suna foarte ok pana acumAlien Frontiers is a game of resource management and planetary development for two to four players. During the game you will exploit orbital facilities and alien technology, building colony domes in strategic locations to control the newly discovered world.
The dice you are given at the start of the game represent the spaceships in your fleet. You will assign these ships to the orbital facilities in order to earn resources, expand your fleet, and colonize the planet.
As the game proceeds, you will land your colonies on the planet to control its territories. Each territory carries a particular benefit and, if you control a territory, you are able to use that influence to your advantage.

Sa vedem cum sa prezentam urmatoarele 4 jocuri...
tasurinchi ne-a vorbit despre un joc care ne duce in vizita prin deserturile Egiptene. Atunci sa vorbim tot despre un joc care isi are "origine" in "Tara Faraonilor", adica... Cartouche (iata ca numele tot in franceza este ).
Si ca sa citam sursa in care este prezentat jocul, vom spune:

Celelalte doua jocuri despre care va voi pomenii nu au legatura cu vre-un joc prezentat de un alt membru al forumului. Vor vedea lumina tiparului doar pentru ca yo! le gasesc interesante. Primul dintre ele, King's Vineyard, are vina ca vorbeste despre produsul de struguri, materie prima pentru vin, ceea ce mi se pare o idee pe cat de amuzanta, pe atat de noua si... proaspata.
Cel de-al doilea joc, care are la baza tot cartile, pare a fi cel putin la fel de interesant, dar foarte inovativ ca idee. Vorbim despre Prodigy, un joc care, spre deosebire de alte jocuri in care ne construiam un pachet (deck) cu un anume scop, isi propune sa ne introduca in lumea customizarii cartilor... Informatiile care pe care le-am gasit despre acest joc sunt:

Board Game News wrote:Cartouche consists of six decks with 24 deity cards in each deck. Each card has three rows on it that show one or two icons: The top row shows a colored deity icon that identifies which deck the card starts in; the middle row shows one of twelve icons, indicating the card's ability; and the bottom row shows one or two colored minor deity icons. During the Development phase, the player plays three cards if he chose a Standard Turn and only one card if he is taking a Shuffled Turn. A card can be played three ways:
Discard a card from your Staging Ground, then draw the top two cards from a deck that matches one of the minor deity icons on the card. Place one of these cards in your discard pile, and the other on the Exodus Deck.
Discard a card from your Staging Ground, then replace it with the top card of your Dynasty Deck.
Use a card's ability.
Abilities come in five types: People and Progress, Disaster and Ward, and Relic. To use the power of a People card – Builder, Priestess or Soldier – you must have the corresponding Progress card in your Staging Ground: Pyramid, Ankh, Armory. If you do, you discard the People card, then (depending on the People) either take a card from another player or return a card from your own discard pile to the Staging Ground.
With the Disaster cards – Flood and Plague – you can wipe out an opponent's Dynasty Deck or Staging Ground, which will force them into a Shuffled Turn subsequently. You place the Disaster in that player's deck, which costs them points at the end of the game (good) unless they draw the card first and swing it back in your face (bad). If you have the appropriate Ward – Boat and Scarab – in your Staging Ground, you're immune to Disasters of the related type; you can also discard these cards to exile one card from any player or add two cards of your choice from the Exodus Deck to your discards.
Finally, the game includes two Relics: Headdress and Scepter. Scepter boosts your ability to look at cards when you take the first action listed above, while Headdress lets you reshuffle part of your discard pile to form a new Dynasty Deck at the end of your turn, thereby delaying the need for a weaker Shuffled Turn.

In the Grow/Wilt phase that follows, each plant gains a vine tile unless it's already reached its peak length (which is noted on the card); these mature plants instead have one tile flipped to the wilted side on each turn. Once a plant is fully wilted, the owner harvests the plant, setting it aside. The deck also includes a number of special action cards: Shovel, Fertilizer, Watering Can.
Players score at the end of a round in which a king card is drawn from the deck, thus the importance of being able to discard as many cards as you want as doing so will hasten the king's arrival. The king awards points only for ripe (i.e., not wilted) grapes with players earning bonuses for having more than one plant bearing grapes of the same color and more than one plant that bears the same number of vines. After the king's third visit, the player with the most points wins the game.

Of course I'm been really made curious by this new concept of the Scratch&Play and so I asked the designers something more. I'll pubblish an interview to Gianluca "Giasbro" Santopietro in the next days.
Even if you play against an opponent with the same deck as you, your ability will be brought out by the strategy you have imposed to your cards. Don't set for less: decide the power of your own cards!
The object of the game is to end a Chapter, that means conquering 5 Places. You can do that by creating Prodigies with a higher value than your opponents, thanks to your WIPpers. But be careful: Places have a Cap, and if you go over it with your value, you cannot prevail!
Prodigy GC is a two-player game, but the rules will allow more players to play.
Components
Every player needs a costumized "script", composed by:
- a group of WIPpers. The sum of the class of the WIPpers in your Off-Screen area must not be higher than 5. A player cannot have two WIPpers with the same title (name and surname) in the Script;
- a deck of 7 Places. A player cannot have two Places with the same title in the Script;
- a deck of 50 Prodigies. A player cannot have more than 3 Prodigies with the same title in the Script;
- an optional Unexpected! deck composed by 10 cards. The Unexpected! deck can contain
WIPpers, Places and Prodigies, provided that the limitations imposed on the number of copies of each card are respected.
Teaser deck
Teaser deck is the first release of Prodigy GC. Each deck is ready-to-play and includes 63 game cards in a fixed assortment of:
• 6 WIPpers cards;
• 7 Places cards;
• 50 Prodigies customizable cards;
• A full color strategy insert with “learn to play” guide.
