Travel back in time thousands of years to the greatest city of the Aztecs. Witness the glory and the twilight of the powerful pre-Columbian civilization. Strategize, accrue wealth, gain the favour of the gods, and become the builder of the magnificent Pyramid of the Sun.

In Teotihuacan: City of the Gods, each player commands a force of worker dice, which grow in strength with every move. On your turn, you move a worker around a modular board, always choosing one of two areas of the location tile you land on: one offering you an action (and a worker upgrade), the other providing you with a powerful bonus (but without an upgrade).

While managing their workforce and resources, players develop new technologies, climb the steps of the three great temples, build houses for the inhabitants of the city, and raise the legendary and breath-taking Pyramid of the Sun in the centre of the city.

Each game is played in three eras. As the Spanish come closer to landing on the shores of America, player efforts (and their ability to feed their workforce) are evaluated a total of three times. The player with the most points when the Spanish finally reach South America is the winner.

Daniele Tascini inseamna ca automat intra pe radar. Edge of Darkness pare interesant...imi place ideea de card crafting dar Mystic Vale mi s-a parut prea basic ca joc. Edge of Darkness pare mult mai solid. O scurta prezentare:




Dintre jocurile de la orizont mi-a atras atentia in mod special Arydia, un cooperativ open-world, campaign-based fantasy RPG-like de la designerul Xia:Legends of a Drift System. Ei zic ca e un concept nou de 'green legacy', adica legacy nedestructibil. Asta mi se pare o tampenie tipica de marketing, pt. ca legacy nedestructibil si resetabil exista de decenii si se numeste campaign-based, dar whatevs...jocul pare interesant de tot. Pe Kickstarter, evident.

Pai asta e, ca mie nu mi s-a parut ca e un prototip. Troyes e chiar un joc frumos :) sau mai bine zis , cu farmec.

Mie Troyes mi s-a parut printre cele mai urate jocuri pe care le-am jucat. Putea fi si mai urat daca folosea aceleasi culori pentru zaruri si piesele jucatorilor. Kanban e un exemplu foarte "bun" pentru asta: masini galbene, parti de masini galbene, jucator cu piese galbene, si nu au nici o legatura unele cu altele. :D

Numai bine mi-ati dat o idee de "top". :P

Pe Kickstarter din februarie 2018.
In Batman: The Boardgame, one super-villain faces off against a team of heroes in one of multiple scenarios. Each hero has their own character, and they control this character by spending energy to take actions, recovering more or less energy at the beginning of their turn depending on their stance. If the hero gets damaged, energy moves to a wound area, and if they lose all of their energy, then they're out of action for a while to recover their strength. Each hero has differing strengths for their abilities, and these strengths are represented by colored dice with different values; the more energy a hero spends on an ability, the more dice they can roll.

The super-villain controls a team of henchmen and villains, and these characters are represented by tiles on their control board, with the characters costing 1, 2, 3, etc. energy to activate as you move left to right down the line. Once a character is activated, they move to the end of the line, boosting their cost to the maximum value should you want to use them again immediately.

The game-play in Batman: The Boardgame is based on that of Conan, with revisions to character abilities, the addition of two different types of dice (w/ five types total), and a modified two-player set-up in which each player has a control board and their own team of tiles, with heroes facing off against villains.

Wow, un heavy Euro cu o tematica moderna si exciting? That's more like it. Estetic pare interesant din poza (oare asa va arata coperta?). Tocmai mi-am pierdut orice interes pt. Brasil :lol: Poate asta vine direct in retail, ar fi si mai bine.

Era of Tribes
Europe at start of the early Stone Age. The human population is scattered all over the continent and lives in lone hamlets or small villages. You represent the clan chief of a dynasty. And your big dream is: to become the ruler of a vast empire.

However, to reach this goal, there is a long journey. Your subordinates have to strengthen you faithfully and your armies have to be more advanced and stronger than those of your enemies. You have to conquer areas and found colonies to receive resources and luxury goods. You have to maneuver skillfully on political level and use scientific progresses to its maximum value. If you are successful, you will become the supreme ruler of the whole known world.

Objective of the Game:

Your objective is to get the most Influence Points (IP) at the end of the game. To reach this goal, you have to develop your empire with help of your aristocrats. Use them alternately by placing them in the different chambers of your palace where they can help you in quite different manners:

The chamber "Expansion" allows you to spread your vassals, found cities, collect luxury goods or resources and decide conflicts. The "Commercial” chamber allows you to increase your wealth by trade. The chamber "Taxes" allows you to levy taxes in your cities. The chamber "Diplomacy" allows you to negotiate with your neighbors, to raise the influence, to change the play order or to acquire additional aristocrats.

The chamber for "Progress" allows you to discover new improvements which enables you to construct more cities, to improve your strength, to gain more influence, to raise the moral of your population, to enhance the effectiveness of your farmers, to execute navigation, or to improve your trade.

The chamber "Bread & Circuses" allows you in combination with luxury goods to increase the morale of your people. Finally a "Revolution" allows you to ascend into the next higher epoch if you met the conditions for this raise.

You gain influence by different actions during play, and by Influence Cards which are distributed secretly at start of the game. These cards will be evaluated at the end of the game and will add additional influence if you have fulfilled their conditions. Furthermore there are some aspects which will give you additional Influence Points after finishing the game. As said before, the player with most IPs will win the game.

Apare in 2018 si o aplicatie pentru Robinson Crusoe. Abia astept. Ma bucur ca s-au gandit la asta si au si pus in aplicare ideea.

This thread is the first mention of Key Flow. Until recently it was the 'Keyflower Card Game' and is described as such on the Key story - see earlier image in this thread. I generally release information by way of an explanatory Geeklist and will release one for Key Flow probably late spring/early summer when the graphics have settled down.

Like Keyflower, Key Flow is played over four seasons. A player starts with a home card, six spring cards and some winter cards. The current season's cards are drafted in a similar way to 7 Wonders and used to build two rows of connected cards, which form the players' villages. Additional keyple cards are used to generate actions and resources. The are a myriad of ways to score points and the game can move along at a quick pace. At the Gathering Joe Huber declared it his favourite R&D game to date. Maybe because this time I have two co-designers, Ian Vincent who instigated the design and Sebastian Bleasdale who proposed the two row lay out, and therefore my contribution diminished.

Rambo: The Board Game is a thematic, cooperative, tactical, miniatures, scenario-based campaign game that allows 1-4 players to experience the events they remember from the film as well as embark on new, never-before-seen missions.

The game provides sealed "Self-Expanding" mission envelopes that gradually add to the game as each mission started and completed. Each mission tells a story and takes the players on a unique adventure to various locations to save POWs, escape a military prison, raid a jungle encampment, defend a secret air base, survive a treacherous jungle, and more! Missions unlock new equipment and tactics to help players customize their experience and allow for high replayability and great tactical strategy. Taking actions and engaging in combat is done without random dice, but with a card-based system in which the player is in control and where every choice can be life or death!

To set up, players choose from an iconic variety of special forces characters each with highly detailed miniatures, including, of course, John Rambo, Col. Trautman, other members of Baker Team, and other companions that Rambo teamed up with over the years. Each hero has unique abilities and customization options that make them valuable during missions. You control how to approach the mission: Do you go in guns blazing? Or do you take a more stealthy approach? Perhaps you set a trap for the enemy? It's up to you to decide and lead Rambo and his team to victory!
