Câteva aspecte interesante:
1. Aparent Feld e nemulțumit de faptul că multe din jocurile lui nu au avut parte de o grafică corespunzătoare. De aceea e entuziasmat să lucreze la City Collection cu Queen Games.
2. I-ar plăcea să vadă un Deluxe Edition al Castles of Burgundy.
3. Aparent consideră că doar 3 din jocurile sale au potențialul să fie jucate și admirate și peste câteva decenii: Bora Bora, Castles of Burgundy și Amsterdam.
4. Marrakesh (probabil 2022) va avea un cube tower.
5. Designul lui favorit din jocurile lui este Macao (care va fi reimplementat ca Amsterdam).
6. Alte jocuri favorite: Maracaibo și Maharaja.

Da, toate astea s-au întâmplat în urma mail-ului meu pe care i l-am trimis designerului meu favorit și în care ma plângeam de calitatea și grafica rușinoasă de la Alea și cum jocurile sale își pierd din strălucire din cauza lor. Iar câteva luni mai târziu mi-a trimis raspuns:

"Hello my friend!
Sorry for the delay, but today I will respond your questions:

Yes, I worked with Alea for lot of my games because they payd me with points. Lot of points! And everybody know's I can't say NO when I see points.
Also, the chief of design department always said to me:
"Don't worry Stefan, this is just the prototype artwork! The artwork for the final product will be amazing!"
But he always trick me and then in compensation he send me bags full of points. And for years I was in Heaven, he spoiled me with points and bonuses, he even make for me a room where I can swim in points.
And every year, me and my wife spend the holliday there.

But after the Carpe Diem thing, it hits me. Enough is enough! I said to myself. Everybody maked fun of me when I show them my New game in 2018. My friends bring me as a gift games like Gugong, Coimbra, etc and they said to me: "Merry Christmas Stefan! We bring you some color in your life!"

And when I saw your mail and your houndred of complains and the good things you said about the Queen Games cardboard quality and the generic but nice artwork they use, I pick up my Phone, called the Alea boss and said:" I quit! Take your points and stick it in your #ss! I'm going with Queen Games from now one!"

So thanks my friend! Your mail changed my Point of view from the beige, yellow and Brown shadows I was stuck in for years. Now I can see the life in the colors I didn't know they exist!
I hope you will enjoy my future games with graphic generic covers and buy them, because I need money for retirement. My wife it's sick of all my pile of points and want me to bring home some money.

Eh, Feld încă lucrează cu Alea, chiar dacă se plânge. Castles of Tuscany e produs de Alea, apare Carpe Diem cu grafica modificată....și sigur vor mai colabora și pe viitor.

Nu am mai scris asta jos, ca se subintelege din context.

Ovidiu, ma pregateam sa te intreb (cu presupusa intelepciune) ce-ai cu bietul om si de ce esti asa indarjit cu grafica de la Feld.... si pe urma am intrezarit o situatie posibil similara, doar ca avandu-ma pe mine in centru: sunt exasperata de utilizarea sistemului dionisian de masurare a timpului, BC, respectiv AD, mi se pare la fel de abuziv ca plantarea icoanelor in scoli, intr-un stat laic. Recunosc ca am aprofundat si cumparat la un moment dat un joc din simplul motiv ca am citit regulamentul si folosea BCE si CE. La fel, am renuntat la jocuri ce ma tentau, pentru ca mi se parea incongruenta tema stiintifica si notatiile dionisiene de pe carti. So, to each its own, am si eu prieteni care imi spun ca n-are importanta si ca jocul e acelasi, but it's not. So, empatizez cu aversiunea domniei-tale fata de pastelurile pamantii

Eh, fiecare cred ca are "piticii lui pe creier". Eu o am pe asta cu grafica, din notiuni pe care le-am spus in trecut. Altii, probabil ca au alte probleme cu jocurile, dar aleg sa nu isi exprime gandurile aici pe forum.

Nu stiu ce sa zic...nu cred ca am deschis vreodata o cutie Queen si am zis Wow...ce grafica, ce componente, ce insert...asa da!
Nu-s nici Queen departe de Alea ... au cutiile lor extra-large de zici ca fiecare joc e vreun Archipelago...in loc, muuult aer...pana si la "Greed" au reusit sa umple cutia cu aer )

Uneori bejul de care te plangi e chiar util, nu te distrage de la joc

Corect, cred ca Fresco e singurul despre care pot spune ca e are un design grafic atractiv cat de cat.

Exact. Plus ca mi se pare ca Alea folosesc carton de calitate. Știu ca e spalacit și subțire, dar se desface foarte ușor și nu se rupe, nu se agata, nimic. Queen Games pe de alta parte..
