Project Update #24: Duder, it’s Over!

What a ride! This last day was Tower’s biggest, bringing in $7,028 for a grand total of $49,184! That’s over FOUR-HUNDRED PERCENT! And it’s all thanks to you amazing builders—all 1,244 of you!

ONE-THOUSAND. TWO-HUNDRED. AND FORTY-FOUR.

To show my thanks, I am going to go ahead and unlock the last stretch goal. We were about $800 short, but really, it’s the least I could do! So, printed bags for everyone!

Once again, thank you all so much. Your financial support, positive vibes, and general enthusiasm are truly touching—and shocking. You can tell from looking at the stretch goal chart on the main page what my expectations were… Although Lutfi, The Apprentices, and the Shakedown pack were all developed well in advance of this campaign, I ended up telling Derek to hold off on the art as I didn’t think it was possible that the campaign would call for it. I thought that we might scrape past 14K in the last few hours—and honestly that would have been amazing—but look at where we all ended up… I was e-mailing Derek almost every day, adding more art to the list. When this game reaches you, I can promise one thing for certain: it will be beautiful!

So What’s Next?

Kickstarter and Amazon are no doubt processing the payments now, and when it’s done, they’ll scoop off a clean 10% as their fee and deposit the rest in my bank account. This could take up to two weeks, so in the meantime, I am already hard at work on creating the completed PnP files. It will take a couple weeks before the PnP is released thanks to the new art, but Derek is already hard at work completing the final 13 pieces. In case you’re keeping track, that’s:
