Pe de alta parte, daca se pregateste intens si inlocuieste cuvinte (cum ar fi sa zica in loc de "mipal"-> "hegemonic" - ex.: "pune-mi si mie hegemonicu' acolo ca io n-ajung...") mai bine-i facem o perfuzie cu ...bere.

I can't believe it but you all pulled together to hit the $85k stretch goal and now I owe you all a free set of 50 metal coins! Everyone will still get the cardboard coins that come in the base game box as well.

50 coins is enough to play the game in most cases but it might be tight with 5-6 players. So you might want to pick up some extras from another very short (20 day) Kickstarter campaign we'll be starting this week. We would like to get enough support to even make the 10 CAP size coin. These coins can after all be used with any game.

There will be options on this new Kickstarter campaign to allow you to save shipping and include your coins in your Hegemonic rewards.

Since Kickstarter only allows us to send one very limited survey out to our backers - we'll save that for when we have Hegemonic in hand to ship to you so we have your most current address. Contributors! Get Contributing!

To meet the delivery schedule, we need to nail down contributions from the various contributor reward levels ASAP. There has been a little confusion over what exactly the contributors will be providing. This update will clarify this and provide additional direction on guiding your input into the process.

CONTRIBUTOR: POLITICAL FACTIONS (3)
Each contributor will be able to name ONE of the 3 ALIEN political factions in the game and help flesh out of the backstory in more detail.

CONTRIBUTOR: HOUSE NAMES (12)
This is important. While this contributor level was called “House Names” what you are actually naming is a LEADER and their associated DYNASTY; which identifies the 12 different LEADER CARDS used in the game. To be clear, you are NOT naming the Great Houses. The Great Houses are associated with the player boards and player colors.

CONTRIBUTOR: HOUSE POWERS (18) and FRINGE HOUSE POWERS (18)
Each LEADER card (from above) contains three different special abilities. Contributors at this level (36 in total) will each be able to name ONE ability that appears on one of the leader cards.


We have developed basic descriptions for the alien factions, leaders/dynasties, and the ability effects that you can use to inform your ideas and naming proposal. Please refer to this GeekList on BoardGameGeek to see what options are still available at your level to name as well as the inspirational descriptions.

A few key rules and guidelines as you develop your contributions:

- I’ve been entering name proposals on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you see something you want to name, jump on it. You can always tweak and change it later up to the deadline.

- The Geeklist (linked above) will be the primary place where name proposals are tracked. Please check it FIRST, BEFORE making a proposal to ensure the slot is open.

- Please comment on the related GeekList item (see above link) to make your proposal. If you can’t use BGG, or prefer not to, you can e-mail me at (Oliver.Kiley AT Gmail.com) directly and I will add it to the page.

- Please mention your Kickstarter name/userid in your proposal so I can verify your pledge level.

- If you are looking for name inspirations, please consider drawing from MYTHOLOGY or ancient History. Mythology inform part of the larger background mythos of the game and ties in nicely.

- We’d prefer not to use naming based on your actual name unless your name happens to have a compelling ring to it. Do consider making a play or modification of your name if you want to – but again our preference would be to develop an original concept/idea.

- All name proposals are subject to our veto should we feel the name is out of place. We further retain the right to edit and tweak the wording of your proposal for clarity and/or to fit within the graphic constraints and limitations of the card design. Be mindful of the length of your proposal. - Non-contributors are encouraged to help brainstorm names and suggest ideas – but please identify yourself as non-contributor to make tracking this all easier.

The deadline for accepting name suggestions is February 17th!

In the event contributors have not made an appropriate proposal, we will draw from other name suggestions from other contributors , non-contributors, or use names we have developed on our own.

On a softer note, I’ll say that we have some great input and ideas generated so far, all tracked on the Geeklist. Please come check it out and help your fellow contributors with their ideas too. I’m excited where this is all going!
