Au aparut regulile pentru joc si regulile individuale pentru cele 4 factiuni. Destul de interesante as putea zice. Ca linkuri avem asa: Regulie generale, Regulile pentru Terran, Xenos, Kahoum si Colossus. Numai mie mi se pare ca suna a Starcraft?

Stratus Games lanseaza in octombrie Eruption

Eruption is a competitive volcano-themed game for 2 to 6 players that is being released by Stratus Games in October 2011. The game features a cutthroat survival feel, in which each player must defend his own village from destruction by the wrath of the volcano at the center of the board. To do so, players can build walls of various strengths to hold back the lava, place Lava Tiles strategically to direct lava toward other villages and away from their own, or utilize action cards to rotate, replace, and remove specific tiles and carry out other events related to the eruption of the volcano. As lava comes in contact with each village (as it inevitably will), the village begins to heat up until it is completely burned, ending the game.

Daca va place Carl Chudyk - designerul Innovation si Glory to Rome - undeva in 2011 va fi lansata expansiunea Echoes of the Past si un nou joc: Uchronia.

Daca s-a vorbit despre Arkham si universul lui Lovecraft in ultimul post, atunci sa punem cateva poze cu ultimele anunturi legate de aceasta lume, asa cum sunt ele propuse de catre cei de la Fantasy Flight Games.

Astfel, nea imba spunea mai sus despre Elder Sign, dar la acea vreme jocul nu avea entry pe BGG. Intre timp, a aparut si entry-ul, precum si pozele aferente jocului.

In plus, s-a anuntat si prima (mini) extensie pentru Mansions of Madness. Acesta se numeste Season of the Witch, este inspirata din povestea The Dreams in the Witch House a lui H.P. Lovecraft si va fi ceea ce se cheama o extensie print-on-demand, adica nu va fi disponibila in magazine (decat daca acestea fac o comanda serioasa la FFG), ci va putea fi procurata de pe site-ul producatorului.

Jocul va contine o singura poveste (a.k.a. scenariu), care ii va trimite pe jucatori in casa vrajitoarei (nu v-ati fi asteptat, nu?), acestia fiind pusi in fata unei curse contra cronometru pentru a rezolva misterul stabilimentului.

The opportunity to write an adventure for Mansions of Madness enabled me to focus on a game setting from one of my favorite H.P. Lovecraft stories, Dreams in the Witch House, and this is the main premise for The Season of the Witch. While having a good base story is essential, I think it is even more essential to ensure that players have a compelling mystery. So rather than just recreate Dreams in the Witch House in game form, I took another Lovecraft tale (one that will remain nameless here) and entwined the two (as well as a few twists of my own) to create Season of the Witch.

The setting is one that I love – the Old Witch House and the strange events that have recently been occurring within. I believe players will enjoy Season of the Witch as there are a lot of new things going on: the flash of the witch light, a missing young mathematician, the hideous appearance of the rat-like familiar Brown Jenkin, and a mystery that must be solved before the Walpurgis ceremonies are completed.

Hopefully all of the players will feel the story come to life as they sense the evil presence of the Witch House and the ancient witch that built it, Keziah Mason. In the meantime, all I can say is that something terrifying may be hidden beyond the rat-infested walls of the old boarding house. Something sinister that haunts those that enter and threatens to steal their very souls. Who can say what horrors the loathsome mark of the witch may bring to the poor unfortunate investigators that brave the shrouded mysteries of the Witch House?

I-am intrebat pe cei de la Rio Grande cand au de gand sa mai publice o editie a jocului Goa, care nu s-a mai tiparit din 2006.
Raspunsul lor a fost:

Apoi am facut cateva sapaturi incercand sa-l contactez pe Rudiger Dorn si sa-l iau la impins vagoane... si am aflat ca jocul e in faza de testare finala si va fi publicat de catre Filosofia in 2011, cu mici modificari fatza de versiunea originala. Sa speram intr-un "Essen release".
