We just got the final 3D drawings back from the manufacturer for the models in Hegemonic. They had to make some adjustments mainly to allow the plastic piece to fall out of the molds properly. They are going to be done in solid player colors (like TI) as translucent had restrictions in the thickness of plastic. However we still have one choice to make with regard to the ship. The plastic won't pop out of the mold properly if it has 3 wings and things that bump out from them. If it has only 2 wings we can have the dimples. Remember they are not going to be all that big (16.8mm x height 22mm - less then 1"). So we are asking you to vote which you prefer below. (Ignore the colors shown, they are not what they will be)

P.S. For those of you who ordered Manhattan Project Second Stage. The delivery should be in the warehouse today (got held up in Customs where they ripped me off for $1500) and so it should be in Milwaukee sometime this week and then we'll start shipping. So you should have them by the weekend after next at the latest. If you had order coins too they will be shipped with the Manhattan Project. Sorry for the delays.

I got the printer to send me 30 extra sets of cards so I can swap out some of you who are really bothered by the 16th of an inch difference in the 2nd printing cards. You will also need the newer Nations 1 cards swapped out too. You can contact me in a PM here and ask for a set while they last (I will expect your set to be mailed back to us after you get the replacements).

THIS OFFER IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE BUYING THE 2ND STAGE EXPANSION- as it doesn't matter if you only used 2nd printing stuff they are all the same size. I will take 10 sets with me to Origins to do the swaps there too. So come early if you need them and bring your old cards or no swap.

ANYWAY...

Manhattan Project - Second Stage and the base game (3rd printing) should be in my store warehouse by Friday and we will start shipping to Kickstarter supporters right away. Most of you should have it by the weekend of the 15th. We will be soliciting distributors this Thursday and they should be shipped a week later. It might take another week to get to your local & online stores. The batch that is tied up in Poland customs was supposed to get released this week, but I haven't heard final statement on that. Once it is the EU Kickstarters will get a delivery from Poland (might say Q-Workshop on it).

I'm going to warn everyone right now that supplies of the Manhattan Project 2nd Stage expansion may (are) going to be limited. After filling the kickstarter and leaving some in Germany for Essen, there is only about 1100 to go to distribution. That will probably only last a month or two. So tell your friends. I've already submitted a reorder but that won't come till the fall.

We will be at Origins with a booth (131) and we'll have replacement cards for the 1st edition starting universities if you just ask us for them. If you backed on kickstarter and would prefer to pickup the game at Origins, please message me ON KICKSTARTER before Friday.

The way to tell if you have the 2nd printing which has slightly large cards, is if you have brown disks instead of yellow. The first printing has 2 university cards with the wrong backs on them (they are not red) and everyone in this kickstarter will get a replacement 2 cards - which you can leave at your local store or help a friend out on BGG if you don't want them.

Just got back from Origins were we demoed Hegemonic a couple times to excited players. They all loved it.

We got the near final model images and I'll shortly have them in hand to play with and test. I've attached an image below. The updated 2 wing model looks great and has plenty of stable footing.

We still hope to have a first example copy to see at GenCon! But we'll not make delivery in time.

Got the actual samples of the miniatures and the "white box" version of the game. The box is real heavy and everything looks awesome!

Sorry for the lack of actual updates to this particular project. I think I may have updated in the comments assuming people would read them. Some updates have been posted to BoardGameGeek.com and also the coins campaign has gotten updates, but alas I see it's been a while since I posted here.

There isn't much really to tell as they are working on the game and est delivery time is now sometime in September. We did some last minute changes to the minis in response to your input and that delayed things a couple weeks. (See below) The image is of a mach-up so it's a bit glossy and less detailed then the real ones. The eyes were fixed on the Agent and the Fleet was made more stable.

I am expecting to meet the printer rep with a nearly final copy of Hegemonic at GenCon. I donno what this will exactly be, but I hope it has minis and printed boards at least! Anyway, please stop by our booth 1201 and ask to have a look.

Thank you again for your support and patience - this is one of the biggest games we've made to date and our first one with real minis, but overall I think it's gone pretty well.

Se intrevede invidia din comentariul lui Rautz! Lasa ca daca nu-l ai, nu inseamana ca nu o sa te joci... Daca o sa fii copil cuminte, desigur!
